How Bali jewelry production works
Lead times depend on order volume and workshop capacity, so plan ahead of peak seasons.
Where it’s made
Sterling silver craft from Celuk village
Celuk in Gianyar is Bali’s centre of 925 sterling silver production. Artisans still use filigree and granulation — labour-intensive techniques that add a premium to each piece.
Silver is combined with semi-precious stones, pearls and occasional shell or wood inlays for a broad range of styles and price points.
- Silver content
- 92.5% silver, hallmarked “925”
- Indicative price
- USD 3–15 per standard piece
What payment terms apply to new buyers?
New overseas buyers pay 100% upfront by bank transfer, Wise or PayPal before production or shipment. Extended terms are usually reserved for long-standing clients.
Which business documents do I need?
Expect to provide a reseller licence or tax ID, especially when buying for established brands in the US or EU.
Can you meet EU and US import rules?
EU buyers need REACH and nickel-release compliance; US importers must consider CPSC lead rules. We provide material information and test reports to confirm.
How is jewelry packed for shipping?
Simple plastic bags or bubble wrap as standard. Standardised or branded packaging is arranged separately and may cost extra.
